2. What kind of opportunities are there at McDonald's?
We have a number of roles in our restaurants such as Crew members responsible for preparing food or serving customers either at the front counter or at McCafÈ. We have people interacting with our customers in the dining area and maintenance roles responsible for maintaining the appearance of the restaurant and performing planned maintenance on equipment. 3. How often will I be paid?
Crew pay is deposited into bank accounts once a week, usually Tuesday or Wednesday. Find out more.
4. Can I choose what hours I work?
One of the best things about working for McDonald's is the variety of shift patterns we need, so it's an ideal way to work around study, sporting, family or other commitments. When you apply you will be asked to supply a range of times you are available to work and how many hours/days you would like to work each week and will then be rostered accordingly. It is likely that your shifts will change from week to week, all that we do ask is that you arrive on time, every time for all rostered shifts. Even if you've never worked before, we can give you all the support and training you need. We firmly believe in hands on "on the job" training. We don't only train you how to work a station in the restaurant though, our practical training in teamwork, communication and time management will be useful in all areas of your life - and if you want to take things further, then McDonald's has externally accredited training that can take you to a career in management and beyond.
