Maccas drops limited-edition Chicken McNuggets Sauces

Featuring flavours inspired by the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023

19 July 2023: Macca’s fans, get those Chicken McNuggets ready! McDonald’s is dropping four new limited edition ‘Sauces Around the World’ that will take the Chicken McNuggets dipping experience to a whole new level.

Available for a limited time only, the Sauces Around the World flavours are inspired by participating countries in the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023.

Launching across two exciting phases, the first drop will see the debut of the Wasabi Flavoured Mayo and Outback BBQ Sauce, both available in Macca’s restaurants nationwide from Wednesday 19 July, while stocks last.

The Wasabi Flavoured Mayo is an iconic sauce featuring smooth and creamy mayo with a kick of natural wasabi flavours - sure to make mouths tingle.

While the Outback BBQ Sauce is a classic, which has featured on Macca’s burgers in the past. It is a delicious and peppery BBQ sauce – perfect to be served with Chicken McNuggets.

“From today, you will be able to dip your Chicken McNuggets into two limited edition Sauces for new and exciting flavour experiences that are sure to get tastebuds tingling.

“From spicy to tangy, there is a Sauce for everyone so, get dipping!”

The Outback BBQ Sauce and Wasabi Flavoured Mayo are available in Macca’s restaurants nationwide, via the MyMacca’s app and McDelivery from Wednesday 19 July, while stocks last.

The first release of Sauces are also available at Macca’s pop-up Fries restaurant, located within the FIFA Fan Festival at Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour, Sydney, from Thursday 20 July.

Details on the remaining two Sauce flavours will be announced in August 2023.
